Orvane Retail: a two-warehouse fulfilment plan for the 2027 peak season
Larkfield Logistics proposes to run Orvane's online orders from two regional warehouses, cut the cut-off time for next-day delivery to 8 pm, and give your team one dashboard for stock, returns, and carrier performance.

Six goals from Orvane's brief, and how we will measure each one
We grouped the requirements from your October brief into six outcomes. Each one has an owner on our side and a weekly metric in the shared dashboard.
-
Later next-day cut-off
Move the order cut-off for next-day delivery from 5 pm to 8 pm on weekdays.
-
Faster returns
Restock returned items within 48 hours of arrival so they are back on sale before the weekend.
-
Peak-season capacity
Absorb three times the normal order volume in November and December without temporary sites.
-
One view of stock
Live stock levels for both warehouses in the same dashboard your merchandisers already use.
-
Carrier choice per order
Pick the carrier per parcel by price and promised date, not by a fixed contract split.
-
Predictable cost per order
A fixed fee per order line, so peak months do not bring surprise surcharges.
Two regional warehouses, one stock pool for Orvane's online orders
Orders are routed to the warehouse closest to the customer that holds the item. When one site runs short, the other ships the order and the dashboard flags the gap for your buying team.
Returns go to the nearest site, are graded on arrival, and are back in sellable stock within two working days.
- Shared stock pool across both sites
- Returns graded within 48 hours of arrival
- Carrier selected per parcel by cost and promised date
